Monroe Pearson has been part of the Denton community since the late 1800s and as a 7,500 square foot single warehouse named Monarch Wholesale Mercantile Company. In 1931, Oran E. Monroe and Wilburn Pearson moved from Gainesville, Texas and purchased the warehouse. They expanded it to 21,000 square feet and creating the Monroe-Pearson Wholesale Grocery Company. Monroe Pearson is undergoing another transformation, but staying in touch with its historic roots has and always will remain constant.
We are working with Tim Beaty Builders, one of Denton’s leading restoration builders who has restored several historic buildings in Denton including LSA Burger Co., The Old Mill and the Central Fire Station and Museum off of Bell Avenue.
